Wide Area Augmentation System
 
As of March 10, 2009, there were 1,550 published WAAS LPVs.
As of November 19, 2009 there were 1,884 published WAAS LPV's.
As of January 14, 2010 there were 1930 published WAAS LPVs.
As of November 18, 2010 there were 2,341 published WAAS LPVs .

In addition, a major achievement for GNSS and a significant
milestone for the aviation community was achieved on
September 25, 2008, when the number of WAAS LPV
procedures available in the U.S. surpassed the number of
Instrument Landing System (ILS) procedures.

There are three types of slips , the forward slip, the turning and the side slip.  Of the three the FAA expects you to know and be proficient in forward and side slips. In Canada they do three types of slips for the flight test. (More)
